Expert Witness services are supervised by DFF Director Brian Fish, who is listed in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses (JSP/U10988).

DFF experts act either for the providers or the users of logistics services across a wide spectrum including inter alia:

* disputes arising from the contract;
* compensation for loss of earnings;
* compensation for loss of revenue and profit;
* compliance issues;
* investigation and reports on:
* transport accidents;
* transport engineering;
* dangerous goods, load insecurity etc.

Increasingly, experts are required to act as Single Joint Experts.
